I like staring at movie teaser posters, especially the ones they hang up in the theater, because they always give you that conceptual little peek at what the movie's about (at least before it gets closer and they start just floating heads and marquee names everywhere). Here's a look at some recent ones.

Due Date evokes the same vibe as the teaser posters for The Hangover, and that's clearly the intention, as both films are directed by Todd Phillips and star Zack Galifinakis. Love the hand on Robert Downey Jr.'s face; definitely looks to be one of the most hilarious road trips of all time (if the movie can match the poster's potential).

Normally I get psyched to watch anything directed by Clint Eastwood, but the trailer for Hereafter, this newest supernatural drama left me a little wanting. Matt Damon as a psychic? This poster reminds me of every other sci-fi TV series, and with those translucent eyes, is Damon an alien? And... what is going on with Bryce Dallas Howard's hair?

Few things are creepier in movies than scary little girls, and these two posters for Let Me In, starring Chloe Grace Moretz as a teen vampire give me the chills. There is another version of the snow one in which Moretz is lying inside the angel, but it isn't as good.

Burlesque, which is hoping to be more All About Eve than Showgirls, does right with the stark black/white palette and the bright red lips. It's like a fabulous Robert Palmer music video, or the album cover for Duran Duran's Rio.

What do you think of these posters? Do they make you more or less excited for the movie? --Ellen
